According to Clutchpoints reporter Brett Siegel, sources revealed that as the Celtics continue to find ways to reduce spending, they have been discussing Anfini Simmons' trading value and potential trading plans with some teams since July.

However, Brett Siegel also said that there seems to be no sign of a deal about Simmons immediately before the start of the season.
