Former Mavericks player McKinley Wright: I learned patience in the NBA. The season is long and there are always ups and downs.

European media BasketNews reported that former Mavericks and Timberwolves guard McKinley Wright, who is now playing in Europe, shared his experience playing in the NBA. He played in the NBA for two seasons and played in 32 games, spending most of his time traveling between the NBA and the Development League.
He said that in the NBA, he learned the most basic principle: "Just be patient. Understand that the game will come to you on its own, don't force it. The season is very long, we play more than 80 games here, just like the NBA. Not every game will go smoothly, it is a roller coaster journey. No one can have a perfect season, there will be ups and downs, this is probably the most important thing I learned."
