361°, the personal first tour of China, was successfully concluded by Nikola Jokic, the global brand spokesperson! Xiaoba has been like all the fans in the past two days, with great excitement, and came to the China tour event site to see the style of a teacher. Regarding your feelings about this trip to China, the release of personal signature shoes, your views on the era of small balls, and the honor of data &... I have all the questions you are concerned about, Xiaoba has already thrown it to Teacher Yo one by one. Come and see how he answered~

: This is your first time to come to China after becoming the spokesperson of 361° global brand. Use one word to describe your cooperation with 361° and your current feelings during this trip to China, and your signature shoes (Joker 1).

Jokic: The cooperation with 361° - very pleasant; the experience of traveling to China - surprising; signature shoes Joker 1 - comfortable to wear.

: Have you ever communicated with Gordon or Pope? Have they shared some of their experiences in China?

Jokic: We have communicated and they told me to try everything new, different cities, all the rich food, and the most important thing is to feel how the fans surround you. Thank you very much.

: Joker 1 made a European start in your hometown of Serbia last year, and many fans came to support it. What does this mean to you?

Jokic: It means a lot to me to be able to sell Joker 1 in my country, and I am grateful to be able to inspire Serbian fans, as well as all the fans around the world - they are not only pursuing their basketball dreams, but also pursuing all the ideal goals in their lives.

: You are widely regarded as one of the most unique players in the NBA today, especially your field vision and passing ability are considered at the historical level. What do you think makes your game style so unique?

Jokic: To study, train and study videos year after year, you need to master the correct basketball skills as early as possible, and put in a lot of effort, and perhaps a little luck and talent.

: Even though you are already a three-time MVP, NBA champion, MVP in the Finals, 7-time Best Team and All-Star...will you care about these personal honors and data?

Jokic: It’s not that I don’t care about personal awards, I definitely care, but this is something I can’t control. I can only focus on my own game and try to help the team win. The championship is my ultimate goal, and it would be better if I could win personal honors in the process.

: How do you view your growth process in the NBA? Is there a moment that makes you feel like "I really succeeded"?

Jokic: To be honest, I really don't have that "I succeeded" moment. I was selected in my sleep, starting from the end of the bench, and then gradually improving my game through years of hard work. Every step is a natural process for me, and there are really no "surprise" moments.

: You are known for your humor and humility. How can you maintain this mentality in the fiercely competitive NBA world?

Jokic: The NBA is indeed very competitive, but it is not the whole of life. The most important thing is your nature as a person and what matters most to you. Be loyal to yourself.

: The NBA now attaches more importance to space and fast pace. What do you think of the development of the NBA today? Share and share your thoughts on the small lineup and three-pointers.

Jokic: The game is definitely changing, and the style of each era is different. A small lineup requires people present to have more balanced skills, defense, shooting, and organizing offense. Everyone needs to do everything. The three-pointer opens up space on the court, gives players more room to execute on the court, and unlocks more tactics, making it harder for you and your team to defend and predict.

: You hit the most three-pointers last season, and your shooting percentage reached 40%, and you even led the league for a while. What is the secret behind this yield and success?

Jokic: I read the opponent and I will be in the open position. Sometimes I will shoot 10 times, and sometimes I won’t shoot, which depends on my understanding of defense. Before taking action, you must believe that you can make every move. This belief and your continuous training can achieve your shooting performance.

: Let’s talk about the NBA midseason championships and tell me what you think?

Jokic: I think the NBA Cup is still a new thing. I have noticed the new stadium and new rules, but my mentality and preparation in every game are the same. Our team has not reached the NBA Cup final stage yet, but I hope to stand on this stage soon.

: Chinese fans call you "Teacher You", which reflects your basketball wisdom. Do you like this title?

Jokic: I like this nickname very much, very much. This perfectly shows the recognition of Chinese fans for me. I also hope that I can become a good teacher. I hope that everyone can learn something from me, and I will be happier.

: Your career has won many competitions and honors, but at last year's Paris Olympics, Serbia lost to the United States in the semi-finals. Can you talk to us about this game?

Jokic: That's right, this is the most important game in my career, although not the most important one. That defeat was really hard to let go, and we all longed to win it. I am glad I was able to fight alongside my brothers and be able to do my best on behalf of our country, which is an unforgettable experience.

: As a family first, what impact does family have on you?

Jokic: Family is the most important part of my life. No matter how life goes ups and downs, my two children, my brothers, and my parents, have been by my side and constantly supporting me. Without them, there would be no me today.

: Who is the hardest player in the league to defend now?

Jokic: Maybe it's Curry. Every player in the league is difficult to defend, and their talent is to some extent high. For me, the most difficult thing to defend is the three threat guards who can score at close range, mid-range, and three-pointers. I'm an inside player so I move differently from them, they can shoot, organize, attack the rim. There are so many possibilities they have in pick-and-roll offenses that make them harder to defend.

: Which one is more difficult, horse racing or playing in the NBA?

Jokic: This is a great question. I think their difficulty is different. First of all, you play in the NBA. Considering the talent of the league players today, you have to give your all in every game. Your body will be tested during the long season, and for me both physically and mentally are facing challenges. Then there are horse racing, and at this time the horses became athletes like me, but they were really running, not me. I think picking the right horse and trainer, feeding the horse, training the horse, and managing the horse is a complex process. It is difficult to handle everything properly and win the championship.

: If you are not a basketball player, what else do you want to do besides horse racing?

Jokic: This is another great question. I don't know, let me think about it... Let me tell you next time.
