👀Trade Night Trading Summary💥Mawei trades and flies to Phoenix!
The 2025 NBA Draft was held at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York today. The following is a summary of the transactions on the draft night:
1. The Charlotte Hornets sent Mark Williams to the Phoenix Suns, and won the No. 29 pick in the first round of this year's draft + the first round of 29 years. The Hornets selected Liam McNeley with the No. 29 draw.
2. The Portland Trail Blazers selected Sidrick Coward and traded him to the Memphis Grizzlies for the No. 16 draw in this draft and the first round pick in 2028 (Magics) plus two second round picks.
3. The Atlanta Hawks sent the No. 13 draw to the New Orleans Pelicans for the No. 23 draw and the first round pick in 2026. The Pelicans used this lottery to select Quinn.
4. The Wizards selected Walter Clayton Jr. with the 18th pick to trade him to the Utah Jazz for the 21st pick and the 2031, 2032 and this year's 43rd pick. The Jazz used the No. 21 pick to help the Wizards choose Will Riley.
5. The Thunder selected Nick Clifford with the 24th pick. Then trade it to the king. The Kings gave the first round from the Spurs in 27 years (the first 1-16 pick protection), and if protected, it will be converted into two second rounds in 27 years.
