In the 8th round of Serie A this morning, Naples defeated Inter Milan 3-1 at home. After the game, Naples coach Conte accepted an interview with Dazn.

What is your evaluation of this victory?

My players and I experience highs and lows together. I think we faced the strongest team in Serie A in this game. They had some holes in the game, but their lineup is still far superior to other teams.

Naples is currently suffering from serious injuries

We won the victory even though we had some important players missing due to injuries. Hoylen, Lobotka, and Rahmani are all absent today. Yesterday we lost Meret and today De Bruyne was also injured during the game. In addition, we are missing Lukaku. We've had some bad luck this season, but we've worked hard to overcome them one by one. Inter Milan wanted to beat us here today because we were in a difficult situation and had just suffered two defeats. But we didn't give up and showed a tenacious performance. Despite the difficulties, we played a great game.

Why did you and Lautaro quarrel?

This can happen when you participate in a competition like this. What I want to emphasize is that during my two years at Inter Milan, I led the team to win the Serie A championship, ending Juventus' nine consecutive Serie A championships. You all know what this means to me. Lautaro is a great player and I haven't had a chance to really get to know him as a person, but I wish him the best.

Inter Milan president Marotta said after the game that the penalty you got was a wrong call.

The difference between Naples and Inter Milan is that Inter Milan always sends Marotta or other executives to talk about this issue, while we let me talk about it personally. Big clubs should not make excuses and I will not allow my club executives to do so. Marotta has now even become the president of Inter Milan, and he continues to rise, but he should leave what happens on the pitch to the people who are actually involved in the game, rather than intervene personally, because this will weaken the role of the coach. These official excuses are always... I don't know how to put it, but that's okay.
