Las Palmas officially announced that former Real Madrid striker Hesse will join the team and sign until 2026.

Hesse Rodriguez signs with Las Palmas, with the contract term until June 30, 2026.

By reaching a signing agreement, Hesse Rodriguez Ruiz, born on February 26, 1993, will wear Las Palmas yellow shirt for the third time and play until the end of the season.

Since leaving the club in the 2021/22 season, Hesse has played for Ankaraguku, Serie A Sampdoria, Coritiba of Brazil and Johor DT, Malaysia, and has accumulated experience in the Eurasian and South American leagues.

During the 2021/22 season, Hesse was the core force in the team's attack on La Liga. He made 39 appearances in the Spanish Second Division and contributed 11 goals and 4 assists, and participated in the two-round matches of the upgraded play-off against Tenerife. He played 2,978 minutes in the regular season and 107 minutes in the play-offs.

Hisse has played in 73 official games for Las Palmas, and his most recent appearance was the Canali derby, which was upgraded to the playoffs in 2022.

Hesse was born in Real Madrid youth training and completed his first team debut in 2011. He won two Champions Leagues, one La Liga, one Cup of Kings, one European Super Cup and one Club World Cup with Real Madrid. After transferring to Paris Saint-Germain in 2016, he experienced many loans, and loaned Stoke City, Real Betis, and Portugal Sports, and joined Las Palmas for the first time in 2017.

Hesse's return will inject rich experience into Las Palmas led by Luis Garcia in the new season's Spanish Second Division.

In the 13/14 season, Hesse contributed 5 goals and 4 assists in 18 games in La Liga. But in March 2014, Hesse suffered a torn cruciate ligament, and was injured for nearly 8 months. Since then, he has plummeted and left Real Madrid to join Paris in the summer window of 2016.
