According to TUTTOJUVE, in order to join Milan, Rabiot gave up his transfer fee share of 1.5 million euros.

After losing against Rennes, Rabiot was included in the transfer list by Marseille due to physical conflicts with his teammates. In the end, Milan signed him for 10 million euros on the last day of the summer window.

When he joined Marseille, Rabiot, who had just left Juventus, accepted the salary cut, but in exchange, he received a clause that if he transfers in the future, he would receive a 30% transfer fee as a share. According to this agreement, Rabiot should have received at least 3 million euros from transfer to Milan, while Marseille left 7 million euros.

However, in order to successfully facilitate the transfer to Milan, Rabiot agreed to reduce his share ratio from 30% to 15%. This means he gave up 1.5 million euros, and the portion of the money will be left in Marseille's account.
