Recently, La Liga announced on its official website the inappropriate behavior that occurred during Barcelona's home game against Athletic Bilbao and condemned the behavior of Barcelona fans insulting Nico Williams.

In the 13th round of the 2025/26 La Liga season, Barcelona's home game against Athletic Bilbao will be held at the New Camp Nou Stadium on November 22, 2025. Based on the information provided by official representatives of the La Liga Professional Football League and information from relevant channels, violence, racism, xenophobia and intolerance in the game were detected, and relevant graphic and audio-visual materials were analyzed, and the following events were recorded:

1. In the 21st minute of the game, a group of local fans in the south stand chanted "Biba is a bitch" in unison for about 8 seconds.

2. In the 41st minute of the game, when Nico Williams fell to the ground, the fans in the South Stand chanted "Step on him, step on him" for about 5 seconds.

3. In the 43rd minute of the game, local fans in the South Stand chanted "Real Madrid is a bitch" for about 5 seconds, and fans from other areas also joined in.

4. In the 53rd minute of the game, local fans in the South Stand chanted "Biba is a bitch" in unison for about 10 seconds, and fans from other areas also joined in.

5. In the 55th minute of the game, when visiting team player Sanchet was sent off, the local fans in the South Stand chanted "Silly x, silly x" for about 10 seconds.

6. In the 55th minute of the game, the local fans in the South Stand once again shouted "Biba is a bitch" in unison for about 10 seconds, and fans from other areas also joined in.

After the chants in the 53rd and 55th minutes, the club reminded through stadium broadcasts and electronic displays that violence, xenophobia, racism and homophobia are prohibited. At the same time, at the 57th minute, the following message was played on the radio: "Please note that the Sports Violence Prevention Regulations prohibit and punish participation in violent, xenophobic, homophobic or racist acts."

Preventive Measures

Regarding the violence prevention measures taken by the Barcelona Club, they include the following points:

- At all entrances, security personnel have carried out strict security checks, checking bags and backpacks to prevent the entry of prohibited items.

- In addition to the above inspections, printed materials such as banners, flags, and scarves are also strictly inspected to prevent the entry of items with prohibited content.

- Containers will be provided at the entrance for fans to store items that are not allowed into the stadium.

- A club-produced sign with text and icons explaining the reasons why entering or remaining in the stadium is posted at the entrance.

- The "Regulations on the Prevention of Violence, Racism, Xenophobia and Intolerance in Sports and La Liga Stadium Access Regulations RD 203/2010" produced by La Liga are also posted at different entrances.

- The above reminder message was broadcast over the radio before the start of the game and during half-time.

- Security personnel are deployed around the stadium to ensure that no fans break into the stadium before or after the game.

- The club has installed large ropes in the corners, behind the goal line and in the area from the stands to the bench as a measure to prevent fans from jumping into the pitch.

- Some security personnel are equipped with cleats to help move quickly on grass.

- An ambulance is on standby at the emergency exit of the South Stand to deal with possible medical emergencies.
