Concacaf Football Federation officially announced that David was elected as the best men's football player of the year last season.

David played 49 games for Lille last season, scoring 25 goals and assisting 12 times. CONCACAF announced that the 25-year-old Canadian forward was elected as the CONCACAF Men's Football Player of the Year for the 2024-2025 season.
