German media reported that Bayern has reached a personal agreement with Stuttgart striker Walter Mad, and Bayern will send a quote to Stuttgart.

Stuttgart legend and West Germany 1980 European Cup champion Karl Heinz Foster said of Waltermad: "All the news I see now points to a possibility: Waltermad will leave the team and an agreement will be reached between the clubs.
