The provision clearly states that teams participating in La Liga can register up to three non-EU foreign players in their first team and can play at the same time.

As Brexit takes full effect from January 1, 2021, British players (including England, Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland) are considered non-EU players. Initially, La Liga, AFE and CSD (Sports Council of Spain) agreed to a transition period for a period of time, especially for British players who already played in La Liga.
