Xiaoba interviewed Curry at the site at Curry's training camp today. During the interview, Curry talked about McGee's recent victory in the Puerto Rico League.

Your former teammate JaVale McGee just won the championship in Puerto Rico. I want to ask you about Latin basketball and its development. Mexico City now also has an NBA Development League team. What do you think of the role of Latin basketball?

Curry: I think that's why basketball is the great international sport behind football - it's still growing, and there are so many people playing around the world. JaVale played there, and Juan Toscano-Anderson played. So basketball can connect many countries and many different styles of play with leagues, which is why it is global. So, please like JaVale’s achievements. And we are very willing to be the North Star of basketball globally.
